Kirkhouse Closing

After some 25 years of The Grassmarket Mission operating from Greyfriars Kirkhouse we are shortly on the move! Our last meal in Kirkhouse was on Saturday 1st of March and we hope to open in our temporary building around the middle of April. We have earmaked the 14th, but as usual that's subject to change. There is a great deal of work to be done, we need to build a kitchen, fit out the dining room, knock through walls, build doors, clean and paint, but we hope that when we're done the temporray building will look smashing!

The plan is to be there for around two years, during the time of the demolition of Kirkhouse and the building of the Greyfriars Community Project building. We're calling it GrassRoots, but that too might just change!
